Jara Represents Nepal in Bengal National Art Festival

Jara Foundation Nepal represented Nepal in the recently concluded Bengal National Cultural Festival organized in the last week of February 2017 at Sylhet, Bangladesh. The two-member delegation comprised of Mr. Krishna Prasai, Chairman of Jara Foundation, and Mr. Mahesh Paudyal, General Secretary of the Foundation. Mr. Prasai represented Nepal in the international poetry festival, also attended by poets from Bangladesh, India and other countries. Prominent poets, who also shared the dais with Mr. Prasai includes Rubi Rehman (Bangladesh), Asad Chowdhury (Bangladesh), Tarik Sujat (Bangladesh), Mandakranta Sen (India), Aashish Sanyal (India) and others. On the other hand, Mr. Paudyal delivered a lecture of Nepali literature abroad in a session chaired by globally acclaimed Bangladeshi poet and critic Kaisher Haq.

During the event, Jara Foundation extended its relations with several organizations personalities of high stature.
